We need your help in order to continue to meet the commitment we have made to St. Matthew’s.
Invest in a child’s future — and a troubled nation’s. We gratefully accept donations as well as educational supplies that fit St. Matthew’s needs. Please contact us with any questions.
We welcome donations in-kind of new pencils, ballpoint pens, and spiral-bound ruled notebooks. Sets of 60 are particularly welcome. Grace travelers will take these to Haiti when they visit.

We also welcome monetary contributions so that items can be purchased in Haiti to support the local economy.
Financial contributions to support Saint Matthew’s School are tax-deductible. Make your check payable to Grace Church, Amherst, and note “Haiti School” on the memo line.

Make a contribution in someone’s name to support our Haitian partner school. We’ll send a handsome card to the person in question, announcing your gift. Please complete this form and send it with your check. Why not ask friends or relatives to make an alternative gift in your name?
Support a Haitian child’s education! Bayonnais has no electricity, hence no computers and no Internet. Nonetheless, we have created a low-tech Facebook of our own.
Make a donation to support one child’s school uniform ($45), textbooks ($50), teacher ($115), or all three ($210). We’ll assign you a child. If you write a note to “your” child, we’ll have it translated and will deliver it early in 2012. In time, your child will write back, and a friendship will begin.
If you want to ‘friend’ in someone else’s name, we’ll send a card informing that person. What could be a more meaningful holiday gift for your own children than to connect them with pen pals who are studying under circumstances so unlike ours in Amherst?
